Heads Up Learning offers courses in French literacy, English literacy, and academic support, grades 1-9. Students learn best when given the opportunity to make discoveries, find patterns, and think critically about new ideas, which is why their curriculum is built on student-centered pedagogies, and themes of citizenship, activism, and environmentalism. Courses are good for students in all school settings, - public, private, online/hybrid, homeschool. The bilingual curriculum is written to support French/English bilingual learners.

Laura Head, founder of HUL, has a Masters in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, three teaching certifications, and ten nominations for NYC Big Apple Best Teacher award.

Due to the pandemic, all courses are virtual right now. Choices can be 1:1 or small group settings.

Laura Head is the creator of Heads Up Learning.
In addition to designing the vision of Heads Up, Laura writes the curriculum for French and English literacy learning, and teaches Heads Up students. Teaching is the best part of her job.
Laura has her B.S. in Inclusive Education from Syracuse University, and M.A. in Education Policy and Social Analysis from Columbia University, Teachers College. Laura is certified in K-6 general and inclusive education, and French bilingual education. Heads Up Learning
English and French reading, writing, and homework help for higher student achievement.
